We are currently hiring highly skilled Master Auto Technicians or Light Vehicle Mechanics for our esteemed automotive clients across Australia. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines, transmissions, steering systems, and other vehicle components
- Dismantling, inspecting, and repairing or replacing defective mechanical parts
- Reassembling mechanical components and performing necessary adjustments for proper function
- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups
- Ensuring vehicle compliance with environmental and safety regulations
- Conducting computer-assisted diagnostics using tools like OBD II Scanner, Snap-on Diagnostics, Xentry, and other modern platforms
- Testing repaired vehicles for optimal performance
- May conduct roadworthiness inspections and issue compliance certificates or reports
- Minimum of 5 years’ working experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic or Master Auto Technician
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and technical drawings or schematics
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and electronic testing tools
- Master Technician training and certification is highly regarded
- Good English communication skills
- Must be able to provide at least 3 years of recent work references and salary documentation (e.g., COEs, payslips, tax documents)
- High school diploma and at least a vocational diploma or short course certificate
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience
