🔧 About the Role
As a Diesel Mechanic (Commercial Trucks), you will play a key role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy vehicles to ensure their safety, reliability, and efficiency on the road.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in diesel engines and vehicle components
- Dismantling engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and other parts for inspection and repair
- Repairing or replacing defective components and reassembling parts using service manuals as reference
- Performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups
- Testing and adjusting mechanical systems after repair to ensure proper functionality
- Using diagnostic tools and computer systems to troubleshoot issues
- Reassembling and fine-tuning vehicles after repairs
- May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or advise on necessary repairs
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years’ working experience as a Diesel Mechanic for commercial trucks and/or buses
- Experience in troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and overhaul of brands such as: Volvo, Kenworth, Isuzu, Iveco, Fuso, Hino, UD, Scania, MAN, MACK, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, and others
- Skilled in using diagnostic systems and tools such as Xentry, Cummins Insite, and similar platforms
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to provide at least 3 years of recent work references and salary evidence (e.g., COEs, payslips, tax documents)
🎓 Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma and at least a vocational diploma or short course certificate
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience
