👷♂️ About the Role
As a Chemical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing chemical processes and equipment. Your expertise will ensure smooth production operations, regulatory compliance, and technical innovation in process systems.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
- Design, research, develop, and improve chemical processes, reactions, and systems
- Optimize performance of chemical equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Develop SOPs, safety protocols, and waste management procedures
- Collaborate with engineers and plant designers to specify control instruments and production layouts
- Supervise fabrication and installation of chemical processing equipment
- Conduct experiments and analyze process data to drive innovation
- Provide technical support to production teams
- Use computer modeling and simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) to identify efficient and cost-effective production methods
- At least 5 years of experience in chemical engineering (process design, manufacturing, optimization)
- Strong technical knowledge in plant operations and equipment design
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field (Master’s or certifications are advantageous)
- Good English communication skills
- Able to provide employment references and salary evidence (payslips, reference letters, government contributions)
