We are currently recruiting highly skilled Carpenters to join reputable employers across Australia. If you’re experienced in construction, framing, and finishing work, this is your chance to take your trade skills overseas and work on exciting building projects.
🏗️ About the Role
As a Carpenter, you’ll be involved in all stages of construction—from reading blueprints to building frameworks and fitting structures. You’ll work with various materials and tools to create, install, and maintain quality timber and structural components.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation methods
- Order, measure, and prepare timber and building materials
- Cut, shape, and assemble wooden components for structural use
- Construct frameworks, roof frames, sub-flooring, and floorboards
- Install exterior wall cladding, window and door frames, and fascia panels
- Assemble wood structures and fittings for installation
- Perform finishing carpentry tasks including cutting joints and detailing
- May work with formwork, plastic laminates, Perspex, or metals
- May perform repairs on existing fixtures and fittings
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience as a Carpenter or Roof Plumber
- Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings
- Experience in commercial construction, formwork, framework, and finishing carpentry
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Roofing or roof plumbing experience is an advantage
- Good English communication skills
- Must be able to provide recent work references and salary evidence (e.g., pay slips, employment certificates)
🎓 Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduate with a vocational diploma or short course certificate in carpentry or construction
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience
