Our client in Australia is a full-service tooling partner, providing industry-leading solutions in tool calibration, testing, repairs, rentals, sales, and support. They are currently seeking a highly skilled Calibration Technician to join their growing team.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
- Perform calibration and testing of a wide range of industrial tools and workshop equipment (e.g., torque tools, gauges, pumps, precision measuring tools)
- Conduct diagnostics, servicing, and minor repairs on mechanical equipment
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for calibration results and maintenance activities
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality control, and safety compliance
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients, maintaining a customer-first approach
- Work independently and as part of a professional technical team in a workshop and/or on-site setting
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as a Calibration Technician
- Must have a mechanical trade background (e.g., Metrology Technician, Fitter, Mechanic, Diesel Technician, Mechanical Engineering Technician, Service Technician, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in calibrating and servicing mechanical/industrial tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and good computer literacy
- Ability to maintain detailed service logs, interpret data, and follow technical standards
- Clear communication skills and a professional, customer-focused mindset
- High school diploma
- At least a vocational trade qualification in Mechanical or Technical fields
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience
