We are currently hiring highly skilled Window Glaziers for our clients in Australia. 

Common tasks that you may perform include:
  • Determining type and dimensions of glass required
  • Laying glass over patterns on padded tables and in jigs
  • Measuring and marking glass for cutting
  • Examining glass and marking defective areas
  • Cutting along patterns and templates
  • Breaking off sheets and excess glass with notched tools and glass pliers
  • Installing glass and mirrors in windows, skylights, display cases, interior walls and ceilings
  • Smoothing rough edges using belt sanders and smoothing wheels
  • May coat, cut, etch, trim and treat glass to achieve special effects
To apply for this role, you must have:
  • Minimum of 1 year’ working experience as a Window Glazier or Window Installer
  • Must have experience in glass window installation, repair, and glazing techniques for residential and/or commercial projects
  • Must be proficient in reading engineering plans and layout.
  • Must be proficient in measuring, cutting, and shaping glass, as well as using tools and equipment related to glazing.
  • Good English communication skills 
  • Be able to drive and has a valid driver's license
  • Be able to provide work references and salary evidence
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma and at least a vocational diploma, or short course certificate
  • Minimum of 1 year' relevant work experience
