🧰 About the Role
As a Diesel Generator Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing diesel-powered generator systems used in a wide range of industrial, commercial, and remote settings.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine service, diagnostics, and repair of diesel generators
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system faults
- Service and maintain fixed-speed engines, alternators, and control panels
- Perform tune-ups and overhauls to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Work independently or as part of a field service team across various job sites
- Provide accurate documentation and service reports for each completed job
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to coordinate work schedules and provide updates
✅ To Qualify, You Must Have:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience servicing fixed-speed engines (1500 rpm) such as: Perkins 1103 & 1104, Cummins QSL7-9, QSX15, Isuzu, Komatsu, Scania DC13
- Skilled in fault finding, repairs, tune-up, and maintenance of diesel generators
- Strong ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and fuel system faults
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to job sites
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with customers and team members
- Must have documents to support your visa application, including: valid passport, police clearances, employment reference letters, salary evidence (e.g., pay slips, government contributions), educational certificates and training credentials
