We are currently hiring highly skilled Chefs (Western Cuisine) for our clients in Australia. 

Common tasks that you may perform include:
  • Assists in the planning of menus and determining food quantities and costs
  • Prepares and cooks food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience
  • Monitors food quality and presentation
  • Manages and trains Cooks and Kitchenhands in food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety
  • Orders and maintains inventory of food and kitchen supplies, ensuring it meets daily production needs
  • Collaborates with management to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes
  • Coordinates with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient food service
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
To apply for this role, you must have:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
  • Knowledgeable in Western cuisine (French, Italian, Mediterranean, etc.) cooking and preparation in a hotel or fine dining restaurant
  • Skilled in menu planning, staff handling, food costing, and stock monitoring
  • Excellent time management and team leadership skills
  • Excellent understanding of food safety - food handling/hygiene
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills 
  • Be able to provide work references and salary evidence
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma and at least a vocational diploma, or short course certificate
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience
