🚗 About the Role
As an Automotive Electrician, you will diagnose electrical issues, install and repair electronic components, and ensure vehicles operate at peak performance. Your expertise will support a range of vehicle types, from light vehicles to heavy equipment.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Use diagnostic equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions
- Dismantle and remove electrical assemblies and components as needed
- Install and connect electrical equipment and power-operated accessories
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, ignition systems, and lighting components
- Adjust engine control systems and perform electrical timing checks
- Test and replace alternators, generators, regulators, and starter motors
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Maintain safety and compliance in all electrical work
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience as an Automotive Electrician
- Must provide at least 3 years of recent work references and salary evidence (e.g., pay slips, employment certificates)
- Experience servicing light vehicles, trucks, and/or heavy machinery
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Good English communication skills
🎓 Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduate with a vocational diploma or short course certificate in automotive electrical technology or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience
