As a young graduate, I explored working with government and non-government organizations. After spending a couple of years with a government agency it was time to explore new horizons.
In 2002, I saw an advertisement in the newspaper for an operations manager in a recruitment company and decided to apply. I had no previous recruitment experience, but the job description suited me and I knew I would be good at it! The company saw my potential and gave me the opportunity. Hence the first 6 months of my employment was spent on rotating through their departments handling the recruitment and processing for several countries.
After 3 years I managed the entire operations of all these departments. I moved to Cirrus Global, Inc. in 2006 as a Senior Manager and I was promoted to Vice President for Operations in 2014. I have been with Cirrus for more than a decade and every day is as exciting as my first day at work at this company. My role has allowed me to interact not only with overseas principals but also with candidates from all walks of life. Our job is to fill the role for a client, but I believe that the greater challenge for us is transform the lives of our candidates by connecting talented Filipinos to great opportunities for them and their families.
